Gail graduated from QUB in 1996 with a B.Med.Sci.Hons (Podiatry) and established Gail Marks Podiatry in 1997. The clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lower limb and foot conditions. As well as routine podiatry treatment we under take nail surgery and carry out biomechanical assessments with the issue of standard insoles or prescription orthotics if required.
The clinic treats a range of patients from children to athletes, to those patients at high risk including diabetics. The clinic is on the ground floor with wheelchair access. Domiciliary visits can be arranged for patients who are housebound.
All podiatrists are HCPC registered and members of the royal College Of Podiatry (MRCOP). Associate podiatrists Rebecca Campbell, Katriona Collins , Nuala McGrillan and Carla McCardle .

Behind our success, these are our podiatrists who have tremendous experience in the field of podiatry.

Gail graduated from Queens University in 1996 and initially worked for for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust before setting up her own private practice in 1997, Gail has completed the LCN nail reconstruction course and a Verrucae needling course. She has a special interest in adults and children with learning difficulties and regularly treats patients in both clinic and their residential setting.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Ulster with a BSc (Hons) Podiatry in 2011. Rebecca has been a podiatrist with Gail Marks Podiatry since 2011 and covers all aspects of routine podiatry including nail surgery , she has a wealth of experience dealing with both children and adults in clinic.

Katriona graduated from the University of Ulster in 2013 and started working with Gail Marks Podiatry in 2014. Katriona has completed additional training courses in LCN nail reconstruction, verrucae needling and the Lipology Curacorn course for administering dermal fillers to the feet , she is currently one of the few podiatrists in N.Ireland to offer this treatment. She also has extensive experience in nail surgery especially in teenagers.

Nuala graduated from Queen Margaret University , Edinburgh in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) Podiatry. Nuala has worked with Gail Marks Podiatry since 2012 , and in addition to routine podiatry Nuala has gained additional training in LCN nail reconstruction and verrucae needling. Nuala is also available for nail surgery.

Carla graduated from the University of Ulster with a BSC (Hons ) Podiatry in 2009 and in 2015 completed a PhD in investigating the effects of pH on the infection status and microbial growth in diabetic foot ulcerations .
Carla has also completed further training in the administration of steroid injections for MSK related conditions including Plantar Fascitis and Mortons Neuroma and in 2022 completed an MSc in the theory of Podiatric Surgery from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. Carla is also available for routine podiatry treatments and nail surgery.

Paula has been with the clinic for over 16 years and has a wealth of experience in liaising with patients and staff , she is available in clinic , online and by phone Tuesday to Friday 9 - 1 pm.
